Once a week during the program, we host our Speaker Series. We serve a casual dinner and invite in leading visionaries, entrepreneurs, investors and experts to talk to the companies. Often the speaker comes in early to mingle with the companies and to provide individualized guidance.

Sam Decker

Sam’s marketing, sales and product experience spans 18 years in B2C and B2B, for startups and Fortune 50 companies. For the first half of Sam's career he led marketing, sales and business development for several early-stage startups in CA. Businesses included direct mail catalog, marketing consulting, online media / community, and web-based telecommunications.
Sam is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and author of two books: "301 Do-it-Yourself Marketing Ideas" and "How to Market With Computer User Groups". Sam is a frequent contributor to magazines and presents on eBusiness, installed based marketing, change leadership, web analytics, and Six Sigma.
Sam was founding CMO for Bazaarvoice Inc., recognized as an AlwaysOn 250 company, "ClickZ Marketing Innovation of the Year" twice, and Austin's "Best Place to Work" twice. In 5 years Bazaarvoice employs 650 people in 8 countries serving 1,000 leading brands through social commerce SaaS technology and services.
Today Sam is a product and company growth consultant, angel investor, board member, and entrepreneur exploring new ideas.

Jack Groetzinger, Russ D'Souza

Jack Groetzinger & Russ D'Souza are the co-founders of SeatGeek and DreamIt Alumni. SeatGeek is a web application that forecasts concert and sports tickets on the secondary ticket market. Prior to SeatGeek, Jack and Russ were co-founders at Scribnia.

Anthony Putignano Anthony Putignano is a Senior Web Engineer at Pennsylvania-based startup WizeHive, an online collaboration platform which allows groups to share files, manage projects, track activity and collaborate with others in secure, private workspaces. He spends his days there advocating for best development practices and building scalable code & systems.
He is also the longtime managing partner of DistiSuite eCommerce, which provides B2B eCommerce and web marketing solutions to wholesale distributors.

Lucinda Holt, Former CEO/Click Equations; Director, Monetate

Lucinda is an accomplished technology CEO who led a number of successful companies. In 2004, Lucinda co-founded and led TurnTide, an anti-spam technology company, which was acquired by Symantec for $28 million in only six months. Prior to founding TurnTide, Lucinda was President & CEO of Destiny WebSolutions, a venture-backed Inc. 500 winner that provided Internet strategy and implementation consulting to large financial institutions. While growing Destiny from $250,000 to $25 million in revenue Lucinda received many honors. She was named America's 17th Most Influential Consultant by Consulting Magazine, won the Eastern Technology Council's Enterprise Award for CEO of the Year, and was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Philadelphia.

In addition to her CEO roles, Lucinda has been an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at First Round Capital and has held management positions at Infonautics, Automated Call Processing, SEI Investments, and American Express. She graduated cum laude from University of Pennsylvania and earned an MBA from the Wharton School in Entrepreneurial Management.

Anita Garimella Andrews, Sepiida

Anita Garimella Andrews is a senior Internet and software product management executive with almost 15 years e-commerce experience. She has expertise in building B-to-B and B-to-C platforms, social gaming and viral metrics optimization, search and advertising, user experience design, online marketing, and social networks. She currently is CEO of Sepiida, an Internet marketing optimization and product management services company, whose clients include Zynga Games Network, Ryzing, JumpRamp Games, Haymarket Media, Coveroo, and Real WaterSports. Previously, she was VP of E-commerce at Nutrisystem and also head of product management for Ingenio, acquired by AT&T/YellowPages.com.
Anita holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. She earned her B.A. from New York University majoring in Politics with a minor in Mathematics. She is a member of the Mayor Nutter’s Digital Philadelphia task force and also on the Board of the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). She teaches product management and online marketing internationally.

Chris Fralic, First Round Capital

Chris Fralic is a Managing Partner at First Round Capital.
Before First Round, he was most recently VP of Business Development at del.icio.us which was acquired by Yahoo! in December 2005. Chris previously spent 6 years at eBay, and his last position there was a combination ad sales and business development role, and before that he led the eBay Entertainment categories, managing the transaction, platform and supply/demand aspects of the books, movies and music marketplaces in the US with over $1 billion in transaction volume during his time there. Chris had been the VP of Business Development at Half.com, which eBay acquired in June 2000, where he helped develop many parts of the business including fund raising, content licensing, the affiliate program, supply and distribution partnerships, and advertising and sponsorships sales.

Mike Levinson, WizeHive

Mike is a Founder of DreamIt and an entrepreneur, executive and active angel investor. Mike co-founded PTS Learning Systems, a company focused on corporate computer training and electronic performance support tools and software. Mike grew the company into a highly profitable international organization with over 200 employees and revenues of $30 million and sold it in 1999. Since selling PTS, Mike co-founded founded TechWise Group, Inc., an information technology outsourcing firm for small and medium businesses. Mike also was a founder or co-founder of LegalEdge Software, the 3E Institute, and The Academy of Manayunk, where he currently serves on the Board. Mike most recently co-founded WizeHive, an online organization and collaboration tool. Mike has also invested in over a dozen technology companies as an angel investor. Mike was graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an Economics/Accounting degree, obtained his CPA certificate in Pennsylvania, and was graduated from Villanova Law School with a JD.

Merle Gilmore, Merle Gilmore & Associates

Merle Gilmore's career includes over 20 years of intra- and entrepreneurial achievement built on a foundation of Fortune 1000 operations and planning experience. Before launching a specialized consulting practice in 1991, Merle served as President of a health services joint venture, which she led from its inception through a buy-back and subsequent profitable sale. She also served as a Senior Business Planner for Aramark, where she directed development of a three-year corporate strategic plan, annual plans, and M&A analysis for business sectors with combined revenue of $1 billion. Earlier, Merle was an internal Operations and Management Process consultant for PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, after beginning her career on the start-up team of the Consolidated Rail (Conrail) Corporation.

Prior to DuckDuckGo, Gabe was a director at Notehall. He is an active angel investor and holds multiple degrees from MIT.
